CANON 2017 Spring deployment. Ran the BOG Line. Ran the 36.9 N transect many times, some of the highest pCO2w we've measured. Front-tracking testing. Drifting, following Spray. Recovered 5/30/2017 due to issues with the sub, possibly the umbilical. wgTiny was near M1 during the beginning of this deployment and again towards the end of the deployment. The vehicle does not appear to have been in the same water mass the second time, even when within 4 km of M1. Salinity was within 0.05 of M1. O2 was ~25 umol/kg low compared to nearby M1. There were a few random O2 data points between 500 - 2500 umol/kg, not coincident with any T or S change; not sure what is going on during this time, but these data have been removed. There were also many very low values, down to 50 umol/kg or less; these are suspect but have not been removed. pCO2w and pCO2a are within 5 ppm of nearby M1, very good! pH was about 0.1 low compared to M1, but we believe M1 pH is measuring too high, based on M1's pCO2-vs-pH plot. wgTiny's T-vs-pH relation is very linear, even down to 9 C and 7.6 pH. The wgTiny pH-vs-pCO2 plot suggests wgTiny pH may be low by about 0.02 or 0.03, still very good. Eco-Puck data looks fine, there were occasional spikes and bb650 does max-out at one point, but no data have been removed. Air temperature suddenly jumped to > 50 C towards the end of the deployment and no usable data were obtained after this point.
