SV3 Data Summary for 8/27/2015: MET: Atmospheric pressure is rising rapidly to > 1027 hPa which is about as high as we've ever seen at Ano and Hopkins; Ano, Hopkins, and M1 are all currently 1016-1018 hPa so Tiny may be off. We'll keep an eye on this. Other MET data (besides air temp) look good. The MET sensor will be swapped before the next deployment (to Station M). pCO2: Sea water pCO2 is continuing to show lower pCO2 inshore (currently 340 uatm and dropping as Tiny heads inshore) and higher pCO2 offshore (360-380 uatm). Ano reached a 10-day high of 550 uatm early this morning; Hopkins increased a bit to 360-400 uatm. Air pCO2 is mostly holding at 385-390 uatm, similar to Ano (~385 uatm) and Hopkins (~390 uatm). Tiny's second (daily) pCO2 standard measurement came in at 407.76 uatm (compared to 406.17 uatm measured in the lab). All pCO2 diagnostics look normal. pH: pH data are trending as expected (inversely correlated with pCO2) but remain almost 0.1 unit higher than predicted for the measured pCO2. CTD: Water temperature is still very warm offshore (>18.4 C) and inshore (currently 17.2 C as Tiny heads inshore), and relatively cool mid-transect (16.5-17 C). Salinity remains higher inshore ~33.34. T vs O2 plot is consistent with that of Ano and Hopkins and seems to indicate a flattening-out of O2 at higher water temps. BB2FB: BB/chl data look good except for one outlier.
