SV2 20121015 4th? deployment of SV2 overall, first in Gulf of Mexico. Ran a couple transects, then did many small 'boxes' around [-88.64, 30.02] (is there a mooring there?). Relatively long (7.5-weeks) deployment. CO2 and Wx data both went out after ~1.5 weeks. Some low-S, low-T, high-O2 water masses. Equil 'on' <80 kPa for almost entire deployment. Zero 'on' <=80 kPa entire depl. Equil 'off' and air 'off' >90 kPa for entire depl. pH and pCO2 agree very well for the first ~1 day of data, then pH goes wacky (down to 4.5, then up to 9.6, alternating between the two ranges, but with realistic-looking variability...?). Removing all but first 1 day of pH data. pCO2 data are fine. Wx data all look good. pCO2 calibration: These values were taken off a Word document: //atlas.shore.mbari.org/Diatom/wave_glider/deployment_data/Gulf_Mexico/pCO2 and pH Processing.docx I’m not sure if these coefficients are entered in a spreadsheet somewhere. a=-16.5956 b=0.3055 c=1.0901 d=-0.002845 e=0.997 In the Word doc it is mentioned that a post-cal should be done. pH calibration: The values below were taken off the same Word document. These values match values given in MooringSensorCal_pH.xlsm for 8/30/2012. However, there is also an excel file ‘Oct_pH_Cal.xlsx’ that has data & slightly different numbers: Those are E0=-0.41639; Ts=293.59. *THESE ARE WHAT I'M USING, THEY AGREE VERY WELL WITH PCO2 AND IS WHAT IS ENTERED IN THE WG CAL&CONFIG SPREADSHEET (JS 11/30/2015)* Performed 8/30/2012 [see MooringSensorCal_pH.xlsm] E0=-0.41878 Ts=293.34
