lmkheaders - Interactively create data file headers

Synopsis

lmkheaders <mooring> "<date>" all | <instrument> [instrument]...

Description

The lmkheaders utility uses templates (/oasis/cfg/template/<instrument>.hdt) to interactively generate header files for daily extracted data. The mooring name, deployment date and list of one or more instruments is given on the command line. The user is prompted to input an instrument description that will appear at the top of the header file, e.g. 'Seabird CTD'. The command line arguments are summarized as follows:

Argument	Description
mooring	Mooring name (appears at top of header)
date	Deployment date (appears at top of header); must be in double quotes
all	Create headers for all instruments (i.e., one for each existing template file)
instrument	Instrument name (first part of template name)
