Name

getdata - dump all data acquired since the last getdata command (i.e. automated download)

Synopsis

getdata

Description

The getdata command returns all data blocks acquired since the last getdata command. Important Note: The getdata command is normally only used by automated download software. It should not be issued manually.

The data returned is usually UUENCODED binary data; typically, the oldest data is returned first unless the symbol
GETDATA_NEWEST_FIRST is defined.

If the MBool variable send_ascii is TRUE, then data is sent in ASCII instead of UUENCODED binary; send_ascii may be changed by setting OASIS paramter ASCII using the parm command.
