To start downloading from the drifters to tsunami, all you need to do is cd /oasis/bin, and execute 'start_coop'. This starts downloading directly from all three drifters to tsunami, through Mt. Toro. To stop downloading, execute 'stop_coop'. Following are the executable scripts in /oasis/bin, and what they do: start_coop Starts downloads from all three drifters to tsunami via Mt. Toro, as from all three mooring cans. The three moorings and three drifters download on the hour, and the three drifters additionally download at 40 minutes past the hour. start_drift4 Starts downloads only from drift4 directly to tsunami via Mt. Toro, as well as all three mooring cans. The moorings and drift4 download on the hour, and drift4 downloads at 40 minutes past the hour. start_drift56 Starts downloads from drift5 and drift6 directly to tsunami Mt. Toro, as well as all three mooring cans. The moorings and drift4 download on the hour, and the drifters download at 40 minutes past the hour. start_moorings Starts downloads the three mooring cans only, to tsunami via Mt. Toro, on the hour. stop_coop Stops the scheduling of all downloads, including moorings. If no download is currently in progress, will stop all downloads. Otherwise, you'll also need to run kill_oasis.coop. kill_oasis.coop Stops current download in progress, including the downloads from the moorings. Note that sometimes the TNC keeps calling for a few minutes, even after the software driving it has stopped. Other commands of interest coasis Start pcomm on the serial port that talks to the radio TNC. getdrift4 Start one download from the corresponding drifter. getdrift5 Note that these commands update only the daily data files, getdrift6 not the concatenated files in /oasis/driftn/data. pwr.coop Displays most recent battery voltages from drifters err.coop Displays current day's errors received from drifters
