This directory (missions) used to contain all of the log files as they cam off the Dorado vehicle. All those files are now in the ../missionlogs directory. There are some utility scripts here that were used to create symbolic links to the original mission log directories which began with the campaign name. Those files were then reportaled. There were several early missions which could not be processed because of missing metadata of other reason. In 2012 the whole AUVCTD share was moved off of tornado and on to atlas. The symbolic links here needed to be removed before that could be done. Also, the root directory of the AUVCTD share was 'polluted' with these old missions that couldn't be processed. What proceeds is... ...a good opportunity to do some needed data organization and cleanup.
