OASIS Access Status

Normally, it is OK to access any of the OASIS cans except during the download
period, which runs from the hour until 20 minutes past the hour, for all hours
of the day.  It's ok, for example, to log onto OASIS between 0820 and 0859,
but not from 0900 until 0920.  This is true for all hours.  However PLEASE
conform to the restrictions noted below, and please read this file each time
you want to log onto OASIS to see what the current restrictions are.

To access any of the OASIS controllers, use the shell script /oasis/bin/coasis,
which changes to directory /oasis/raw/logs and then invokes pcomm, with
the correct parameters to talk to the radio TNC.  Please turn on data logging
via ^A-1, so we have a record of what you did.

PLEASE NOTE THAT SIMPLY USING PCOMM TIES UP THE CHANNEL.  You don't need
to be connected to OASIS to use up the resource.  Please exit as soon as
you're done.
